Follow

Problem summary
Gizmos merged downstream of a linked node will cause it to be unlinked when reopening the script.
This seems to happen with any Gizmo, even empty ones, but hasn't been reproduced with regular nodes.

Customer reported version
Nuke 16.0v5

Customer reported platform
Linux Rocky 9

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Nuke.

2) Create a CheckerBoard node, then a Grade node downstream of it.

3) Create a BurnIn Gizmo (press X in the Node Graph and type BurnIn). It seems this issue can be reproduced with any Gizmo node.

4) Create a Merge node, connect the A pipe to the BurnIn and the B pipe to the Grade node.

5) Create a ColorBars node.

6) Create another Merge - connect the A pipe to the ColorBars and the B pipe to the first Merge node.

7) Select the Grade node and press Alt+L to create a Link node.

8) Place the new linked Grade node downstream of the ColorBars. Your script should look something like this:

9) Save, close and reopen the script.

Expected behaviour
The script should reopen without any errors.

Actual behaviour
The following error appears when reopening the scripted and the Grade nodes are unlinked.

Workaround
Unknown.
