Q100652: Furnace for Nuke is discontinued

SUMMARY

This article notifies that the Furnace plug-in for Nuke is discontinued and explains what that means in terms of support.

MORE INFORMATION

Since Furnace was first launched in 2003, the 2D image-processing capabilities within compositing tools like Nuke have advanced significantly.

The most popular Furnace plug-ins are now included in NukeX as FurnaceCore nodes (Align, DeFlicker, Refrain, RigRemoval, WireRemoval, and Steadiness) and many of the remaining Furnace tools have been supplanted by more modern workflows suited to current hardware and operating systems.

Given limited usage and demand, we have decided to cease sales of Furnace for Nuke as a standalone plug-in, and Support has ceased as of December 31st 2022.

Furnace is currently available on Windows and Linux (not macOS). It will likely continue to work on Windows and Linux for some time, but we will not be able to provide assistance for any issues or bugs.

You can continue to download the Furnace 4.2v5 plug-in from the following page:
