MORE INFORMATION

All existing accounts and individual entitlements are already in the new system and the licenses behave in the same way - you can activate on up to 2 machines at a time and go offline for 37 days before you need to reconnect to refresh the license.  To use the new licensing technology, all you need to do is login from Mari 7 / Mari Non-Commercial 7 onwards.

More information on individual login-based licensing can be found here:

Q100282: What is Individual Login licensing and which products is it available for?

NOTE: The old type of login licenses are still valid for Mari 7 but they will not be refreshed.  This means you won't be prompted for a license when you first run Mari 7 but the license will tick down and you’ll see an expiry warning when there is less than 7 days on the license.  Once the old license expires, logging in from Mari 7 will activate the new type of license which will then be refreshed.

You can activate the new license straight away from within Mari 7 by following these steps:

  1. Click on Help > License
