SUMMARY
As of April 30th, 2025, older versions of Mari (6.0 and earlier) and Modo (14.2 and earlier) will no longer be available on Login-Based licensing due to the retirement of the old login licensing server.
This means that users with Individual Login-Based licenses will be unable to activate and use their license with these older versions of Mari and Modo.
Versions of Mari 7+ and Modo 15+ onwards will continue working as expected. Teams Login-Based licenses are unaffected as they are only available for Mari 7/Modo 17 and upwards.

We upgraded the server that hosts our Login-Based licenses to a new and improved server in December 2023. This move was to allow us to support more flexible licensing and better security updates.
Our new server does not support older versions of Mari (6.0 and earlier) and Modo (14.2 and earlier).
We have up until now kept this old server running for customers using unsupported Mari and Modo versions, but as of April 30th, 2025, we have retired this system.
We recommend updating to a new version of Mari (7.0v1 or later) and Modo (15.0v1 or later) to continue using your Login-Based license.
